2009 02 21 Holy Name 62 Hanover 40 : The Nighthawks' season ends as Holy Name wins this D3 matchup at Annville-Cleona High School. Despite losing, the Nighthawks (15-9) accomplished a major improvement from last year's 5-18 record. This includes their first winning record in many years and their first D3 win in over ten years. Though the 'Hawks will lose five seniors they have set the bar for the younger players to pick up where 2008-09 left off. Thanks and congratulations to seniors Grant Mummert, Jordan Martz, Jordan Smith, Nate Trish, and Jon Osladil as well as the rest of the Nighthawks. See you next winter!

Perhaps the Colonial fans' chants of "Sit down Dooley" and "Fish on Friday" initially unnerved the Squires.
